Instructor: Joi Chupp
So often when we learn how to make something one way, we never explore other ways of making the same thing. I learned wet felting first and really loved it, but eventually I realized I could make bags and hats by needle felting. But why would I want to? The results are similar but not the same. The felt itself is different, the shrinkage is different and the design can be more defined.
In this class, students will learn both processes as well as how to combine the techniques. They will be able to finish a purse or bag during class.
All materials will be provided, but students should bring a towel and gallon sized ziplock bag.
